Technical project leader for a team of two developers and one analyst performing enhancements on multi-platform environments, using PeopleTools, MS-SQL Server, Java, and iSeries RPG/ILE.

Architected and participated on development of an e-Customer Service Web Application for an engineering/manufacturing company, using Websphere Development Studio - Rational Developer, Java, Servlets/JSP, RPG/ILE, and Websphere Application Server on iSeries-AS/400.

Designed and developed a PeopleSoft module consisting of browser-based panels and MS-SQL Server tables. It allows end users to store groups of G/L Accounts, Operating Units, Vendors, and Assets by selecting from PeopleSoft Tables. These groups provide great flexibility to queries, reports and batch processes executed by Accounting, Internal Audit, and Tax Departments.

Developed several custom reports from Asset Management and Project Costing, using PeopleTools App Designer, SQR, and Crystal Reports.

Enhanced the system that feeds both Journal Entries and Circulating Inventory Assets from iSeries to Peoplesoft.

Developed a system for transmitting secured information over the internet to H/R Service Providers, using Eclipse, Java, MS-SQL Server Stored Procedures, JavaMail, FTP and PGP Encryption. The source database is ADP-PeopleSoft H/R. Files sent : Dental Plan, Health Plan, i-9 Employer Eligibility Verification, Unemployment Services, STD/LTD Claims. Jobs are scheduled on MS-SQL server to fire automatically every week, thus reducing greatly the workload for H/R staff.

Worked on the Corporate Actions System for an Investment Bank, revising AS/400 back-end jobs, programs, and files, in order to make them Y2K compliant. Also documented several processes to be reverse-engineered.

Created OpenCA, a prototype web application for a college, using J2EE Front Controller Servlet, JSP, DAO and Role-based Authentication.

Implemented an Intranet for a company with subsidiaries across USA, using their iSeries server. Configured a second NIC on the AS/400 for balancing traffic, and set up Apache HTTP Server for handling multiple websites on the DMZ. Installed Domino Server on the iSeries, and configured eMail to use AT&T SMTP secure gateway in order to filter out spam. Connected Apache to Domino, so that users may access their Notes email from the Internet through a browser. This intranet also includes Websense to prevent users for accessing forbidden sites.

Enhanced and maintained a Commodity Trading Position and P&L application using MQ Series and RPG400.
