I am a multi-skilled software developer with the right mix of functional and technical knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.0, Financials, PeopleTools 8.5, Application Designer, PeopleSoft Queries, SQR, Crystal Reports, and SQL Server. I also have several years of experience developing i5 iSeries AS/400 RPG/ILE applications, plus some Java expertise.

My background includes a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Programming, a Masters in Computer Science from Boston University, formal training in General Accounting, college-level teaching experience, based out of Boston.

Recent Projects

  • Developed several programs and Peoplesoft panels for calculating Profit Sharing Contributions/Forfeitures, and sending encrypted information to Merrill Lynch, using SQR and App Designer.

  • Developed programs and Peoplesoft panels for calculating Vacation/Sick time, and updating HCM 9.0 database, using SQR and App Designer. This module also generates information for posting a quarterly accrual Journal Entry

  • Developed SQR programs for converting Earnings, Deductions, and Tax Balances, for implementing PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 Payroll. Also, created program for calculating ABBR for commission-based employees.

  • Developed interfaces for transmitting secured H/R information over the internet from PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 database to H/R Service Providers (Cigna, MetLife, Liberty Mutual, Talx), using SQR, SQL, FTP and PGP Encryption.

  • Developed PeopleSoft browser-based Panels and Tables, using PeopleTools App Designer and PeopleCode, for storing groups of G/L Accounts, Operating Units, Vendors, and Assets by selecting from PeopleSoft Tables. This provides great flexibility to Accounting, SOX Auditors, and Tax Departments, who use it for running queries and reports for any combination of Locations and GL Accounts, thus reducing the number of queries and maintenance of PeopleSoft Trees.

  • Implemented e-Customer Service Web Application for an engineering/manufacturing company, using Websphere Rational Developer (RAD7), Java, Servlets/JSP, RPG/ILE, and Websphere Application Server on iSeries-AS/400.

  • Developed several custom reports from PeopleSoft Asset Management and Project Costing, using PeopleTools App Designer, SQR, and Crystal Reports.

  • Implemented an Intranet for a company with subsidiaries across USA, using their iSeries server. Configured a second NIC on the AS/400 for balancing traffic, and set up Apache HTTP Server for handling multiple websites on the DMZ. Installed Domino Server on the iSeries, and configured eMail to use AT&T SMTP secure gateway in order to filter out spam. Connected Apache to Domino, so that users may access their Notes email from the Internet through a browser. This intranet also includes Websense to prevent users for accessing forbidden sites.

  • Enhanced and maintained a Commodity Trading Position and P&L application using AS/400 RPG/ILE.
